CastReader is not a promise to read every page on the internet. It combines mobile, browser, document, and explanation workflows for specific reading surfaces. Choose the source below to see the recommended entry point and its limits.
Each workflow below is intentionally narrow enough to explain what CastReader actually does.
Use the CastReader mobile app for a phone-first Kindle bookshelf, read aloud, highlighting, auto-scroll, background playback, and resume progress where supported.

Availability depends on the book, platform, content access, and text CastReader can legitimately process. CastReader is not affiliated with Amazon or Kindle.
Use the Chrome or Edge extension to extract and read supported rendered pages in place with highlighting and playback controls.
Articles, newsletters, documentation, and other text-heavy pages
Page structure, permissions, embedded viewers, dynamic rendering, and site updates can affect extraction. No browser extension can guarantee every website.
CastReader provides a dedicated extraction workflow for Kindle Cloud Reader when ordinary DOM-based read-aloud tools cannot see the rendered book text.
Reading legitimately accessible Kindle Cloud Reader pages aloud in a desktop browser
It does not bypass DRM, ownership, subscriptions, regional availability, or publisher restrictions. The phone app uses a separate workflow.
Use document upload or the mobile app for local files, OCR, longer documents, and reading controls designed for files instead of ordinary webpages.
Reports, papers, ebooks, study material, screenshots, and scanned pages
DRM-protected files, complex layouts, tables, scans, poor OCR, unsupported formatting, and very large files can reduce availability or quality.

Documents, notes, and email that you already have permission to access
CastReader cannot grant document access or bypass organization controls. Editor updates, embedded content, and permissions can change what is readable.

Interactive widgets, code blocks, citations, formulas, figures, and page updates may need manual verification. Explanations can be incomplete or wrong.
