YOUR VOICE, KEPT PRIVATE
Personal voice cloning is coming soon
CastReader is preparing a private voice-cloning workflow for personal reading. The feature is not available in the public CastReader experience yet, and no current plan or download should be treated as access to it.
Not live yet. The public reading apps currently offer the preset voices in the library above; personal voice cloning will be announced separately when it is ready.
The planned release starts with consent and ownership
The planned launch is designed to require an authenticated account, explicit owner-consent confirmation, and the appropriate entitlement. Reference audio will be encrypted at rest, users will be able to delete their voice, and personal clones will never become public SEO pages.

At launch, voice creation will be tied to an authenticated account rather than an anonymous device.

Record one clear speaker
The planned flow uses a clean 3–30 second WAV or FLAC reference with no music, echo, or additional speakers.

A voice may be created only when the user owns it or has the required rights and explicit consent.

The planned account-scoped workflow will let the owner preview, use, or remove the private reading voice.

The prepared contract includes a limit of one successful creation per user in a rolling 24-hour period.
A reading voice library, not a voiceover studio
CastReader does not ask you to generate a clip, download it, and manually find your place again. The voice runs inside a reading workflow with the original text, synchronized highlighting, auto-scroll, progress, background playback, and explanations for difficult passages.
Voice generators produce audio. CastReader uses a voice to help you finish and understand what you already need to read.
For advertising, dubbing, podcast production, or a public voice marketplace, use a dedicated creator platform. CastReader is designed for personal reading across books, documents, and supported pages.

How many voices does CastReader have?
The live catalog currently contains 283 evaluated entries, with 283 voices selectable and previewable in the public reading catalog. Availability changes as voices pass quality review. Visit the download center for supported clients.
Can I preview a voice before selecting it?
Yes. Every voice shown in this public catalog has a real audio sample. The mobile voice browser also supports search, filters, favorites, recent voices, and recommended voices.
Can CastReader clone my voice?
Not yet. Personal voice cloning is coming soon and is not available in the public CastReader experience today. When it launches, the Voice Hub will publish the current access, consent, and privacy requirements.
Can I clone a celebrity or another person's voice?
The feature is not live yet. Its planned safety boundary does not allow creating a voice without the required ownership, rights, and explicit consent. CastReader is designing it for consent-based personal reading, not impersonation.
Does CastReader publish cloned voices?
No public cloning feature is live today. The planned design keeps personal voices private to the authenticated account and excludes them from the public catalog and public indexing. See the privacy policy for the current pre-release data-handling boundary.
